We grow our own apples and pears with which we fill the baskets. These are 100% of Belgian origin and end up directly from our orchard in the fruit baskets.
In addition to local fruit, we always take the season into account. There are no clementines in summer and no berries or cherries in winter. In this way we reduce our ecological footprint and support the local farmers.
Finally, we work closely together with organic farm de Wroeter from Kortessem. They focus on people who find it difficult to find a place on the regular labour market. We look at their talents and possibilities, in order to strengthen their self-esteem and position in society. Tailor-made work and care are central here. With a lot of love and patience they are working daily to provide us with the best organic fruit every week. As a supplier of our organic fruit, both the local economy, the community and the environment benefit, because the fruit does not have to travel far. This fits in perfectly with our buy-local vision.
